Dear Readers, Welcome!
Dear readers,
Is it me, or does the world feel like it’s moving faster than any of us can process? News, crises, politics, everything overlaps and somehow makes less sense the more we try to follow it. That’s why I created this space: a place where we can pause, think, and look at the bigger picture without getting drowned in the noise.
My name is Céline. I’m a macro and geopolitical analyst, and I’ve always been drawn to understanding how global events spill into everyday life. Here, I’ll write mostly about the global economy and world affairs, but also about films I love, books that stay with me, and the unexpected links between economics and the everyday life. My work lives somewhere between analysis and reflection: grounded, curious, and human.
My plan here is simple: weekly posts, a mix of commentary, personal notes, and ideas that keep us curious. While I’m still learning my way around Substack, I kindly ask for your patience as I figure out the rhythm and format.
So here it is, welcome to World Debriefed! I hope you enjoy these notes, and I look forward to your thoughts, comments, and critiques.
Céline xx
